Poem by Stella and Tara

                              Last term we were learning to write poetry. One day at reading time, Stella and Tara got together and wrote this poem about the earthquake and how they felt on the day.                                  

Earthquake Poem
                       

          Eating lunch with our friends .

                  Rocks falling, ground shaking
 
                         People screaming everywhere!
                                    
                                  People running everywhere!
                       
                                           Parents picking up their children, going to their homes.

                                                          Big  hugs,  tears  running  everywhere
