On Friday, 6th of May 2011, a few lucky people were chosen to ask a question in a press conference to the Prime Minister John Key. We had to stand up when he arrived. Room 9 was set up like a press conference. The Prime Minister was at the front of the classroom ready to answer questions, with David Carter, MP. We had to put up our hands and the Prime Minister chose you. My question was "What is the favourite part in the building that you work in?" His answer was his office, because he has the best view in the Beehive. Some other questions were: "Do you have a pet?" He has a cat called Moonbeam Smokey Fluffy Key. His daughter called it Moonbeam, his son called it Smokey and his wife called it Fluffy. He wasn't allowed to call it anything. "What was your most difficult time as Prime Minister?" He said it was the Pike River disaster and the Canterbury Earthquakes. He was also asked if he played soccer. He said that he used to but he got injured and he showed us his scar on his ankle. After that we went into the hall for the opening. My favourite part was asking my question, even though I felt nervous and my heart was beating heaps.
